There are numerous reasons why I like Baby Academy. Its clean and cozy environment, delicious home-made food, comfortable beds, educational toys, and organic soap in the bathroom (!!) are to name a few. The most important one is that our kids are truly loved there! To me, this is the only condition under which learning can take place. And it DOES at Baby Academy every hour of the day whether it is through direct instruction or play time. As a teacher myself, I can see that there is a well-thought through educational philosophy behind their curriculum which allows kids to be engaged at all times. The choice of activities, reading materials, and ideas for art projects is superb! Another highlight for me is an opportunity to see how my son’s day is like through pictures posted on line. This is indeed priceless, especially for grandparents living far away.
Next year will be my son’s last at Baby Academy before he goes to kindergarten, and I very much wish that his further experience with schools is as positive as the one he gets at Baby Academy.

Baby Academy is a wonderful daycare for both children and parents. The owners and the staff create a warm and caring atmosphere in which every child receives personal attention and feels truly at home.
Our oldest son started the program when he was 2.7 and we have been amazed at the way Baby Academy helped him and us make the transition to daycare at every step of the way. Not only did we receive daily photos of our child’s activities, detailed check lists and small gifts that he made for us during his classes, we had numerous personal conversations with his caregivers which showed that they truly cared about and got to know our son.
We love the bright new rooms at Baby Academy, a well thought out collection of toys, which is constantly updated, and two spacious playgrounds tailored to various age groups.
For us personally, it was also very important that Baby Academy provides healthy homemade food.
Furthermore, we are very happy with their rigorous curriculum that Baby Academy offers. In particular, we appreciate an innovative math program designed by a mathematician and teacher Larisa Bankovsky. Our child at 4.5 can do math exercises usually taught in the 1st grade of elementary school.
In addition to its curriculum, Baby Academy fosters a friendly social atmosphere in which children learn to respect and love each other and form lasting friendships that extend outside the daycare.
Our son loves preparing for concert celebrations, which are conducted twice a year. This year’s New Year’ celebration was absolutely amazing with beautiful bright costumes and gifts for every child.
Most importantly what makes Baby Academy special is its staff. Their genuine interest in their children, their responsiveness and their desire to do their job a little bit better every day make Baby Academy feel truly like a home.
Our second child started at Baby Academy this year at 2 and both our boys love going to daycare and miss it when they have to stay at home sick or even away on vacation, and that to me is the best and the most important indicator. We are very happy at Baby Academy and cannot say enough good things to recommend it to prospective families.

Наша старшая дочь пошла в Baby Academy в 2 года 8 месяцев. Сейчас ей почти 5 лет. На протяжении этого времени мы замечаем значительный прогресс в ее развитии. Приятно осознавать, что в детском саду уделяют внимание не только питанию, прогулкам и сну, но и развитию ребёнка (умственному и духовному). Детям закладываются понятия дружба, доброта, забота о ближнем. У детей проходят уроки (досконально продуманные и планируемые профессиональными преподавателями). Ребёнок приходит домой с новыми знаниями и очень гордый.

Каждое утро мы получаем подробнейший фото-отчет о предыдущем дне. Можно проследить, что и как ел ваш ребёнок. Так же каждый вечер, забирая ребёнка мы получаем письменный отчёт за этот день( как ребёнок ел, спал, играл, занимался, замечания, просьбы, комментарии). Это так важно, особенно в начале, когда думаешь с замиранием сердца,что твоё чадо сидит и плачет. А на самом деле, ребёнок и уходить из детского сада не хочет и просит тебя приходить за ним попозже.

Отдельное спасибо за питание. Наша дочь обожает есть в детском саду. Но это и не удивительно. Пища готовится каждый день из свежих продуктов (а не из полуфабрикатов, как в многих других садах). Меню продумывается заранее и акцент делается на здоровое и полезное питание.

В детском саду чистота и порядок! Детки спят в отдельной спальне на удобных кроватках (бельё мы приносим из дома), а не на матиках, которые купили в прошлом веке.

Очень приятен открытый диалог с воспитателями и администрацией сада. Все вопросы быстро решаются, а ко всем просьбам очень внимательно относятся.
Отдельное “человеческое спасибо” за Новогодний праздник. Подготовлен он в лучших традициях. Заранее пишется сценарий, шьются костюмы,учатся стихи и песни. Дети смеются, тацуют, становятся настоящими актерами. А родители… смотрят DVD с Новогодним утренником (настальгируя о своем прошедшем детстве) и думают,что скоро придется уходить из Baby Academy, потому что пора в школу. Но… младшая дочь подросла и в Сентябре мы опять идём в Baby Academy, а вы?

Что мне нравится в нашем садике больше всего, это то, что дочка ходит туда с удовольствием, очень любит своих воспитателей и дружит с детьми. Каждый день она приносит из садика что-то новое типа «мы проверяли, что снег- это замерзшая вода», «а я знаю что такое сила воли», или «мы учились варить суп». Меня приятно удивляет разнообразие тем, которые они обсуждают в садике. Что особенно ценно так это то, что детей учат играть и дружить, бережно относиться друг к другу.
Мы обошли 7 садиков прежде чем остановили свой выбор на Baby Academy. Изначально нам понравилась открытость руководства в обсуждении любых вопросов о распорядке дня, о занятиях и о методах разрешения детских проблем. Мы почуствовали, что детские интересы ставятся превыше всего. Полтора года спустя могу сказать, что первое впечатление было абсолютно верным.

We visited several day-cares in the area prior to deciding to enroll our daughter in Baby Academy. Some of the main features that set Baby Academy apart from all the rest of the day-care centers are a structured learning environment, separate rooms for sleeping, learning and play, and homemade organic meals.

The lesson plans are age appropriate and are planned out on daily basis to engage kids through playful structured activities. We are very pleased that kids take their naps on beds in a separate bedroom, not on cots as is typical of other day-cares. The meals are homemade and organic and are also served in a separate dining area. We receive daily pictures and summaries of the kids’ activities, which make us feel more involved in our daughter’s daily routine.

Our daughter wakes up every morning very excited to go to day-care to see her teachers and friends. We are very pleased with the choice we made and highly recommend Baby Academy to all parents.

Майечке не было и трёх лет, когда мы переехали из Коннектикута и встал вопрос отдать её в садик. Мы пересмотрели несколько мест, но выбор однозначно остановился на “Baby Academy”. Нас сразу привлекла дружелюбная атмосфера, чистота и доброжелательность персонала. После первого дня в этом садике мы знали, что не ошиблись. Воспитательница мгновенно нашла подход к нашей дочери, сделала её день интересным, насыщенным и увлекательным. Ведь так легко понять, подходит ли ребёнку садик – достаточно понаблюдать за настроением утром во время
сборов. Майенька бежит в садик с большой радостью! Мы очень довольны развивающими занятиями, интересными проектами и весёлыми праздниками в “Baby Academy”. А уж какой там борщ! Будучи в Монреале в Канаде, мы зашли пообедать в русское кафе, где Майечка попросила борщ. В конце обеда хозяйка спросила Майеньку, понравилось ли ей. Её ответ заставил нас всех рассмеяться: “Было вкусно, но не так, как в садике!”

I am very happy with Baby Academy. The childcare personnel are outstanding, the facilities are spacious and clean, the learning and play opportunities are abundant. I am convinced that the management goes an extra mile in providing the kids with safe, happy, and intellectually stimulating environment. I will enroll my younger daughter in Baby Academy as well. We are truly happy with Baby Academy.
